Tuition assistance

Continuing Education students taking credit courses (CEND/nonmatriculated)

Private alternative loans—The information below pertains to private loan companies currently loaning funds for tuition and educational related expenses for credit courses taken by nonmatriculated students who are not in a degree program. This information is subject to change due to the evolving credit market. You can call the ACCESS Center to make an appointment for an in-person or phone appointment if you have any questions about private loans. Typically the loans require a credit check, a co-borrower for the best rates, and certification is either by the ACCESS Center or the campus Financial Aid Office. The loan process can take a long time so please be aware of this if you are going to need a loan to pay your tuition, fees, and expenses while a CEND student. Students in CEND status (continuing education non-degree) are not eligible to use the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid form) or any federal financial aid loan or grant programs.
