Degrees available in Southern Delaware
Do you have an associate degree
from Delaware Tech?
You
may be halfway to your baccalaureate degree at the University
of Delaware! Students who have completed associate
degrees in agricultural, criminal justice, or engineering
technologies at Delaware Tech can transfer their credits earned
(with grades of C or better) toward baccalaureate degrees
in these fields at University of Delaware Academic Center
in Georgetown, needing only two years of full-time coursework
to earn bachelor's degrees. Delaware Tech transfer students
in Criminal Justice and Agriculture majors can complete their
entire bachelor's degree in Georgetown. Engineering Technology
majors may take a number of courses in Georgetown and through
UD Online that will apply toward the their bachelor's degree
in Engineering Technology before they transfer to the Newark
campus.

Master of Arts in Liberal Studies
Are your
educational interests too wide-ranging for a traditional advanced
degree program? The MALS program is especially for adults
like you who want to focus their search for enrichment.
Tailor
your own curriculum with the program's many interdisciplinary
courses or other graduate courses at the University.
The degree
can be completed in Southern Delaware thbrough part-time study
in the evening.
Are
you 60 years of age or older? You can complete this
(or any other) UD degree tuition free. Delaware citizens
who are 60 years of age or older and are formal UD degree
candidates may take credit courses without paying tuition.

Leadership
Designed
for the school manager, integrating technical, conceptual,
and interpersonal skills. Provides preparation in the areas
of supervision, management, organization, and program curriculum.

A unique
graduate program designed to meet the needs of classroom teachers
in Kent and Sussex counties. Program consists of

area courses (12 credit hours)
- Individualized
concentration courses (18 credit hours) to fulfill the teaching
needs identified by the participant

evidence of the teacher's growth in knowledge and teaching
skills
