Requirements for enrollment

There are no formal requirements for enrollment in the certificate.

Recertification credits

The University of Delaware's Strategic Human Capital Management Certificate has been approved for 43 (Specified-Strategic) recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification through the Human Resource Certification Institute.

Continuing Education Units

Upon successful completion of the program, students are awarded 4.8 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). CEUs are the national, standard means of recording participation in, and successful completion of, professional adult education courses.

Schedule and location

The certificate can be earned in approximately 13 weeks. Sessions will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-9:15 p.m. and some Saturdays from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the University of Delaware’s Downtown Center at 8th and King Streets, Wilmington, DE. Click here for a detailed schedule.
