Requirements
for enrollment
Participants
must be registered nurses or other health-care professionals
with three to five years of clinical experience with an interest
in risk management and patient safety. Proficient computer
skills as well as strong verbal and written communication
skills are required.

successful completion of the program, students are awarded
9.0 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). CEUs are the national,
standard means of recording participation in, and successful

Grading
Policy
All modules
taken toward the certificate will be graded according to the
University of Delaware’s A-F letter grade system. Students
must maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 (C)
for all modules in this program, with no grade lower than
a D.
