Tuition assistance information
Continuing Education students
taking credit courses (CEND/nonmatriculated)
Loans—The
ACCESS Centers have information on several credit based private
loan companies. It is best if you make an appointment with
the Coordinator of Student Services or a Counselor prior to
applying for a credit based loan to ensure that you are applying
for the right type of loan and amount of money you need for
tuition and related expenses. Credit based private loans are
different from the loans matriculated students receive and
the financial aid office on campus does not certify loans
for Continuing Education students.
Grants—If
you are employed by a company in Delaware that contributes
to the Delaware Blue Collar Training Fund program, you can
apply for the Governor's
Workforce Development Grant as long as you are part-time
and meet other eligibility requirements.
Scholarships—Professional
and Continuing Studies has several scholarship opportunities
available for partial or full funding with different qualifying

need and submit a proposal for enrollment in a post-secondary
school or training program within 6 months of the scholarship
award date.
