Institute Advanced Placement Program 2008
General information
The AP
Institutes are designed for private and public secondary school
teachers who currently teach or plan to teach College Board-sponsored
AP courses. Course content and exam coverage are addressed
through lecture and discussion. All University of Delaware
AP Institutes feature

College Board approved consultants

Classes
limited to 16-20 participants

Extensive
sample materials and teaching aids
Award
of certificates and CEUs
These
programs have been approved by the College Board and are offered
as professional development, noncredit courses. Upon successful
completion of the course, participants will be awarded a Certificate
of Completion and 3.4 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for
34 hours of classroom instruction. These courses are not offered
for college credit.
Audience
These courses are designed for novice and experienced
public and private secondary school teachers who teach or
plan to teach an AP course in the applicable subject. They
are designated Level C: combined
program for new or experienced teachers.
