The certificate
program includes ten evening sessions, all held at the UD
Downtown Center, 8th and King Streets in Wilmington, DE.
Grading
policy
Certificate
modules are graded on a pass/fail basis unless letter grades
are requested by the participant. Grading is based on participation
in class, completion of interim assignments, and completion
of a project that is the basis for a participant presentation
at the final session.
Textbooks
An extensive
participant manual and handouts are included.
Continuing
Education Units
Participants
who successfully complete the Business Communications Certificate
will earn 4.4 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). CEUs measure
participation in noncredit professional development activities.
These standard units are nationally recognized. One CEU is
awarded for every ten hours of participation in a continuing
education program.
