
Program description
This certificate
program takes an integrated, practical approach to improving
the fundamental skills that will help you communicate in a
more professional manner. The program stresses basic writing
skills, including grammar, punctuation, and editing in multiple
media, including e-mail. The oral communication skills that
are covered include one-to-one conversations, as well as making
presentations to a group. The sessions are highly interactive
and include individual and group exercises, group discussions,
presentations, and role playing.

Requirements
for enrollment
There
are no formal requirements for acceptance into the certificate
program. Classes are limited to no more than 16 participants
with registrations accepted on a first-come, first-served
basis.
