The drug industry shares the same challenges as other professions during these economically challenging times. However, in the clinical trials field, there are several avenues to pursue. Jobs are within pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, contract research organizations and data management vendors. Additionally, there are several different specialties to pursue, including data management, drug safety, monitoring, manufacturing of investigational products and project management to name a few.
