Disability Accommodations

The University of Delaware provides equal educational opportunities to all students and encourages full participation in all programs and services. As such, UD provides reasonable accommodations to students with disabilities.

Students must self-identify. Students who are requesting accommodations must self-identify by contacting the University of Delaware’s Office of Disabilities Support Services (DSS) at DSSoffice@udel.edu or 302-831-4643 or by visiting UD’s Office of Disabilities Support Services (DSS) in person.

Begin requests as early as possible. A non-matriculated student who needs accommodations should contact UD’s Office of Disabilities Support Services (DSS) as soon as possible after deciding to take a course. The approval process and accommodation implementation can require a considerable amount of time to complete.
