The State of Delaware is known as the “Corporate Capital of the United States” and is the legal home to more than 750,000 business entities, including 61% of Fortune 500 companies. The Division of Corporations of the Delaware Department of State processes more than 500,000 corporate and commercial filing and information requests annually and is responsible for handling 22% of the State’s general fund revenue. Division personnel pride themselves on working with legal professionals, the legislature, and the Courts to develop leading edge services and technologies designed to meet the needs and exceed the expectations of the international business community.
