Schedule
and location
Classes
for the
Certificate in Financial Planning meet primarily Wednesday
evenings from 6:00-9:15 p.m. and some Saturdays from 9:00
a.m.-12:15 p.m. on the Newark campus of the University
of Delaware. Please view the current
semester's schedule for a detailed listing of class meeting
times, including occasional exceptions to the Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday
meetings.
Registration
with payment is due ten business days before the start of
the program. A payment plan is available. Click here for a

Grading
policy
All modules
taken toward the certificate will be graded according to the
University of Delaware’s A-F letter grade system.
Textbooks
All textbooks
are provided, and are included in the cost of program. Click

used in this program.
Continuing education credits
CEUs
-- Participants who successfully complete the Certificate
in Financial Planning will earn 19.2 Continuing Education
Units (CEUs). CEUs measure participation in noncredit professional
development activities. These standard units are nationally
recognized.

NASBA
-- The University of Delaware, Professional
and Continuing Studies is registered with the National Association
of State Board of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing
professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.
The University will award 85.5 CPEs for successful completion
of the Certificate in Financial Planning. State boards of
accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual
courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors
may be addressed to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors,
150 Fourth Avenue North, Suite 700, Nashville, TN 37219-2417.

Registry of CPE Sponsors, CPE credits have been granted based
on a 50-minute hour. This group-live program is an advanced
curriculum covering financial planning content.
