Security and safety on campus
The administrative office responsible for
police and security services on the campuses of the University
of Delaware is the Department of Public Safety. Public
Safety staff provide 24-hour-a-day response to reports of
on-campus emergencies and criminal actions. Reports of emergencies
or requests for assistance can be communicated directly over
more than 200 "dial-free" campus emergency telephones
or by calling the University Police emergency number 9-911.
Non-emergency calls should use 302/831-2222.
