Nurse Consultant Certificate
General information
Schedule
and location
All modules
in the program will be held on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to
4:00 p.m. at the University of Delaware’s
Downtown Center at 8th and King Streets, Wilmington, DE.
The modules are from two to seven weeks in duration. Click

Grading
policy
All modules
taken toward the certificate will be graded according to the
University of Delaware’s A-F (with plus-minus) letter grade
system. Students must maintain a minimum grade point average
(GPA) of 2.0 (C) for all modules in this program, with no
grade lower than a D.
Textbooks
Students
may purchase textbooks at the University of Delaware Bookstore
or other bookstores as designated.
Continuing
Education Units
Participants
who successfully complete the Legal Nurse Consultant Certificate
will earn 20.7 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). CEUs are
the national, standard means of recording participation in,
and successful completion of, professional adult education
courses.

The cost
of the certificate program is $3,600, due upon acceptance

Financial
assistance
Students
in University of Delaware certificate programs may be eligible
for financial aid. Please call the ACCESS Center at 302/831-
2741 for information and applications. This certificate is
approved by the Delaware State Approving Agency for the training
of veterans. Contact 302/831-1138.
Refund
policy
If a
certificate program is cancelled by the University, a full
refund is provided. A full refund will be given to anyone
who withdraws if written notice is received by Professional
and Continuing Studies via mail, e-mail, or fax five working
days prior to the program start date. Withdrawals made less
than five working days before the program start date incur
a fee of 15% of the total cost of the certificate program.
Rarely are refunds granted after the start of a program, though
in extraordinary circumstances a refund may be made on a prorated
basis. All requests for refund must be submitted in writing.
