About
the Legal Nurse Consultant Certificate
In this
program, registered nurses become familiar with legal theory
and the overall litigation process, including how to review
legal cases, evaluating the merits of cases, writing legal
reports, and the impact of legal theory on the medical and
judicial systems. The program also provides valuable review
for LNCs currently in practice who are preparing to take the
Legal Nurse Consultant Certified (LNCC) examination administered
by the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants.
Who
should participate?
RNs with
three or more years of experience interested in broadening
or changing their career paths.
Time to complete
The certificate
can be earned in approximately one year. In order to receive
the certificate, participants must first be admitted to the
Legal Nurse Consultant Certificate program, then successfully
complete all required modules with a minimum grade point average
(GPA) of 2.0 (C).
