Statistical Analyst Certificate

Program description

The Statistical Analyst Certificate is designed to provide you with an understanding of how to design, analyze, and effectively manage data so it can become useful information for your organization. This certificate is taught as a series of computer lab workshops, and includes a review of statistical software packages. SAS JMP™, a powerful statistical analysis software package, is the primary software used in this class to illustrate the application of statistical techniques to real world problems. The program emphasizes practical skills that are applicable to projects such as marketing research, data mining, process improvement, and research and development.

Requirements for enrollment

There are no formal requirements for enrollment into the program. However, to be successful the following are recommended:

  • A working knowledge of basic algebra and Microsoft Excel
  • An understanding of basic statistical concepts
  • Some college experience

Time required for completion

The Statistical Analyst Certificate can be completed in approximately four months.
