UD Online exam procedures
Testing with a Testing Site, Work
Site, or Exclusive Site
Hundreds
of testing sites are available across the U.S. through various
partnerships. Most sites charge a reasonable per-test fee
and it is the student’s responsibility to pay such
fees directly to the testing center. After registration
and throughout the semester, it is the student’s responsibility
to contact the testing or site coordinator to make arrangements
to take their exams according to the instructor’s
guidelines. The coordinators will not contact the student
to make these arrangements. If exams are not taken by the
designated deadline, the coordinator will return them to
the instructor indicating that student did not make arrangements
to take an exam. Visit the following links to find a testing
location convenient to you:
If
you are able to use one of the above testing locations,
then you are ready to register by writing the name of the
testing center on your registration form as the “site,”
be sure to use course section number 195, and use the site
participant fee payment form.
If you
are not able to use one of the above testing locations,
the following options may be applicable:
-
If
you are currently employed, your employer may be willing
to proctor your exams. Your employer must have a human
resource professional, a training coordinator, or other
administrator who agrees to administer exams according
to UD Online proctor guidelines, and they must complete
a UD Online
Site Participation Agreement Form, which
must be completed prior to the student registering.
After the form has been submitted, then you are ready
to register. Please write the name of your employer
as the “site,” use course section number
195, and use the site participant fee payment form.
-
If
you are still not able to find a testing location convenient
to you, please contact ud-online@udel.edu,
302/831-1078, or 1-800-597-1444 (press “4”)
to discuss other possible options.
-
If
you are sure you do not qualify for the nonresident
site participant rate, then you would register
as a nonresident individual.
