The Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management (HRIM) program prepares students for careers in the hospitality industry. Hospitality and tourism is the world's largest industry, employing about one in 11 people worldwide. In the U.S., it is the largest private industry employer.

The HRIM curriculum consists of liberal arts, business, and specialized courses in technical applications for the hotel, restaurant and related industries. Theory and skill-based courses are enhanced by an emphasis on practical work experience. Students who successfully complete this program earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management.
