Course materials

Most UD Online courses are delivered on the Web; however, other course materials and equipment may apply to specific classes.

  • CD-ROMs or DVDs—If students have technical difficulties viewing videostreamed lectures over the Internet, they may be able to request a CD-ROM as an alternative viewing option. Click here for more information.

  • Computer—All UD Online courses require access to e-mail and the Internet on the student's home or work computer. A small number of courses require scheduled virtual class meetings using a microphone and headset. This would be indicated in the specific course description.

  • High-speed Internet access—Some UD Online courses require high-speed Internet access; however it is recommended for all distance learning classes. This would be indicated in the specific course description.

  • Syllabus—Course syllabi and other course handouts can be found online after you register and have accessed your course. [A sample course syllabus can be viewed via the UD Online Catalog. These syllabi should not be used by students to get accurate semester-specific information (books, exam dates, etc.).]

  • Textbooks—Students are responsible for obtaining required textbooks. Click here for instructions.
