UD Online international partnerships
Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality
The University
of Delaware and the Swiss School
of Tourism and Hospitality (SSTH) in Chur, Switzerland
have a longstanding collaborative relationship. In addition
to student exchange programs between the two institutions,
SSTH students and alumni are now able to transfer up to 90
of the total 120 credits needed to earn a Bachelor of Science
degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from
the University of Delaware. The remaining 30 credits are available
anytime, anywhere with courses offered through distance learning
technology in the University of Delaware fall, winter, spring
and summer semesters.
In addition
to having an established transfer matrix between the two institutions,
SSTH students and alumni enrolled in UD Online courses are
qualified to pay the special nonresident
site participant tuition rate. This is an approximate
45% savings for international students.
For program
details and an application, please visit the Distance
Learning Bachelor Degree home page at the Swiss School of
Tourism and Hospitality. The application form must be
completed by potential students and returned directly to SSTH.
After students are officially matriculated, they will enroll
in UD Online courses directly through the University of Delaware.
