Registration and tuition information
Nonresident site participants
Students
who are enrolled for the majority of their credit hours in
a given semester through UD Online may qualify for the nonresident
site participant rate by choosing an approved UD Online
participating site, including work sites, National College
Testing Association (NCTA) sites, or UD Online partnership
programs.
Full-time matriculated UD campus students are eligible for
the nonresident site participant rate
only during the winter and summer sessions.
Work
Sites
Hundreds
of workplaces currently participate as UD Online work sites.
Becoming a participating work site is a simple process: a
human resources professional, training coordinator, or other
administrator at your workplace must agree to administer exams
according to UD Online proctor guidelines and complete a UD
Online Site Participation Agreement Form. To
find out if your employer is already an official work site,
or to find out how your employer can qualify, please write
to ud-online@udel.edu
or call 1-800-597-1444 (press “2”).
National College Testing Association (NCTA) Sites
NCTA is
a consortium of college and university testing sites across
the United States where students can register to take their
UD Online exams, thus qualifying for the site participant
tuition rate. Visit the National
College Testing Association (NCTA) for a list of participating
testing centers. Exam administration details vary for each
testing center listed, including hours of operation and testing
fees. When registering for a UD Online course using the NCTA
testing center option, you must include the name of the NCTA
testing center selected.
UD Online Partnerships
The University of Delaware and UD Online are
affiliated with several professional organizations, high schools,
and community colleges, including some colleges abroad. These
partnerships help many nonresident students qualify as site
participants.
