Work-site participation program

You may be able to take UD Online distance learning courses through your current work site.

Work-site students receive the following benefits:

  • Out-of-state students who are enrolled for the majority of their credit hours in a given semester through UD Online may qualify for the special nonresident site participant tuition rate by participating through approved work sites.

  • Each site has an employee who serves as the UD Online site coordinator. The site coordinator located at each work site is able to assist UD Online students with various aspects of the program, including: proctoring exams, course material dissemination, and general information regarding the UD Online program.

Work-site student course materials

  • CDs and videotapes are shipped to a student's home address. All exams are shipped to the site coordinator, and it is the responsibility of the student to make testing arrangements with the site coordinator according to the exam deadlines for each course.

Participating work sites

  • We currently have hundreds of work-site locations as official participants. To see if your employer is already an official work site, please call the UD Online registration office at 1-800-597-1444.

  • If your employer is not currently a participating work site, but would like to participate, please print out the Site Participation Agreement Form and present to your employer. Most employers have a human resources department, or employee training and development department eager to facilitate employee educational endeavors such as this.
