As of 2024, Hispanics are the majority business owners of over 5 million firms, which employ nearly 3 million workers. This remarkable growth reflects the increasing entrepreneurial spirit within the Hispanic community and its significant contributions to the U.S. economy.

This 10-week noncredit program, taught entirely in Spanish, is designed for established Hispanic business owners who are looking to expand and scale their current ventures. The course uniquely blends fundamental project management tools with crucial finance, marketing and operations strategies to empower entrepreneurs to effectively plan, execute and manage projects aimed at growth. Participants will directly apply these skills to a tangible business initiative, such as launching a new product, entering new markets or optimizing internal processes.

Guided by a bilingual instructor with over 15 years of experience in project management, academic instructional design and small business consulting, the program provides participants with a clear framework to achieve sustainable business growth. Each week’s content builds upon the last, integrating theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on application. This ensures that participants not only grasp core concepts but also gain the practical skills to apply them effectively in their real-world business contexts.

By the end of the program, each participant will have developed a detailed project plan that aligns with their specific business growth objectives. They will also gain the confidence and practical tools necessary for successful implementation. This program provides Hispanic entrepreneurs with essential resources for starting and managing a business, incorporating key concepts from project management, finance, marketing and sales. Participants will create a comprehensive business plan, develop vital skills and gain hands-on experience in executing business projects. This training will equip them to apply these tools in their ventures, significantly enhancing their chances of long-term success.
