Learning in retirement

Lifelong learning organizations at the University of Delaware—These membership organizations are for adults 50 and over to take classes, teach, and exchange ideas in the company of other retirement age individuals. No educational prerequisites, no grades or exams, just learning for the fun of it.

• Academy of Lifelong Learning— Established in 1980, this award winning program is located in Wilmington, Delaware.

• Southern Delaware Academy of Lifelong Learning—Established in 1989. Located in Lewes; some classes in Rehoboth.

• UD Lifelong Learning in Dover at the Modern Maturity Center—A UD partnership with the Modern Maturity Center, Dover.

Over-60 Tuition-free Degree Program
Delaware citizens who are 60 years of age or older and are admitted University of Delaware undergraduate or graduate degree candidates may take University of Delaware credit courses without paying tuition. Click here for details.
