Student participant video essay

UD’s Karen Stein, associate professor in the School of Public Policy and Administration, invites students to participate with a video submission.

Why should I care about elder abuse?

Elder abuse is a social problem that affects all generations, not only the elders who are at risk of being mistreated and exploited. Undergraduate and graduate students with a connection to this issue are invited to submit a one-minute video essay to share their thoughts, and attend the 2016 Elder Abuse and Exploitation Conference at no charge.

  • Do you have a personal connection to elder abuse or the health and well being of older adults?
  • Are you majoring in a health care or social services field that touches on elder care and elder issues?
  • What are your concerns or involvement in the issues of elder abuse and elder care?

Videos may be displayed on the conference website or shared at the conference. Submissions may come from University of Delaware undergraduate or graduate students, as well as from students at other colleges and universities.
