Students enrolling in University of Delaware credit courses as Continuing Education students are considered University of Delaware students. By enrolling in courses, students agree to comply with University rules, regulations and academic standards and are obligated to comply with University of Delaware policies in the Student Code of Conduct. Topics covered in the Code of Conduct include:

  • Academic honesty
  • Alcohol regulations
  • Disruptive conduct
  • Drug policy
  • Endangering the safety of others
  • Misuse of University materials, services or property
  • Responsible computing and use of University computer resources
  • Sexual assault and sexual harassment
  • Theft
  • Weapons, dangerous instruments and explosive chemicals or devices on campus

Classroom Etiquette

Cell phones and emergency pagers should be turned off or set to vibrate mode during class, unless the use of mobile device is a part of the class requirement. Please show courtesy to the class by restricting conversations to in-class topics. Raise your hand to gain attention when asking a question or raising a point of discussion. Disruptive behavior may adversely affect your registration and could lead to dismissal.
