“I have developed strong relationships both with other students as well as faculty during my time at UD.”

“I was a business major at Millersville University prior to enrolling at the University of Delaware in 2002. Since I was already in the hotel industry, I was interested in switching majors to earn a degree in hotel, restaurant and institutional management. The online program at UD seemed like a perfect fit.”

“I really wouldn’t have been able to complete the degree in a traditional classroom environment. With a family (5 kids!) and a full-time job it was just too much to try and commit to classroom learning. The flexibility of online classes was a huge benefit. If you have to, you can view course lectures at 11 o’clock at night, or at 6 o’clock in the morning.”

“When I started the program I was concerned that I would have trouble building relationships given the online format, but that really wasn’t the case, and I am happy to say that I have developed strong relationships both with other students as well as faculty during my time at UD.”
