Late Policy

Effective June 1, 2017, the University of Delaware Testing Centers in Newark, Dover and Georgetown adhere to a late policy for scheduled exams.

When signing up for an exam time, you must arrive within the first half hour of your scheduled exam time, otherwise you may be required to reschedule your exam for another time or possibly another day.

For example, if you schedule to test at 10 a.m., you must be signed in by 10:30 a.m. If you fail to sign in within 30 minutes of your scheduled arrival time, there may not be a station available and you may be asked to reschedule your exam for another time. We want to be respectful of everyone’s time and when we have a full schedule of back-to-back students, we may be unable to give latecomers the full time allotted for their exams.

Familiarize yourself with the Testing Centers’ operating hours so that you schedule enough time to complete your exam before the facility closes. For example, if you have a two-hour exam and the Testing Center closes at 8 p.m., you should schedule your exam at 5:30 p.m. at the latest to account for time to park, store personal belongings, and check in.

Here at the University of Delaware Online Testing Center, we pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service, from technical support to providing students with individualized, professional academic support. Please be aware of the late policy and communicate directly with our office if you need support in any way related to abiding by our guidelines.
